"Visited this spot back in June on our way from Phoenix to Denver. This stop had gas, clean bathrooms and just happened to be situated on the continental divide. There's a small photo op area set up outside that allows visitors to take pictures of the landscape over a chain link fence, unique, our group enjoyed taking selfies and photographing the landscape for a good 20 minutes here. This stop also has a rather large gift shop that sold just about anything from magnets, postcards, cloths, Native American trinkets to food items like salsa’s featuring New Mexico’s famous green chilis! I ended up buying most of my souvenirs and gifts here, including a jar of salsa which I very much enjoyed. We ended up liking this stop so much that we would stop here again on our return trip back to Phoenix. I cannot recommend this place enough!"
"Beautifully made moccasins! This place is a gem…I’ll be back for more ☺️"
"I collect local honey from all states and this place closes at 7 pm the beautiful souls there stayed there till I could get my honey . Stuck in a traffic jam they got me out of one lol . Ty again to the Navaho ladies ."
"It was a great decision to stop by, almost everything is handmade by Old Indians. My kids also loved touring around in this warm&cozy market."
"Very nice lady helped us with selecting some bolos and other gifts. So friendly and helpful. Thank you for being apart of our traveling experience during Thanksgiving. Glad you did not have to cook!! Many blessings to you and yours during this precious Holiday Season - Happy New Year sweet lady!!"

"This shop was a great stop on our road trip between CA and TX this summer. They have tons of gifts and trinkets at reasonable prices. I believe they are native owned and operated which is a plus to us. The staff is friendly and helpful. We make sure to stop here every time we make the trip!"
"Traveling Rt 66, in May 2024, we stopped to look for souvenirs.😊
I really loved this place. I bought some earrings. Also, found something unique. A duck egg, decorated with sand, like a sand painting with Native American symbols. I was very neat, got that too.
The lady storekeeper was very sweet and we had a good time perusing all the neat things in the store. Also, inside it is shaped with logs to be like a Hogan structure, very cool.
Nice shop and not "touristy."
You might miss it on the road, so put it in Google map.😊"
"Very nice shop, stopped here while passing through New Mexico and bought an authentic Navajo tribe arrow. Loads of cool souvenirs. 5 stars :))"

"Great store here. I bought Minnetonka moccasin slippers and boots here. Lots of souvenirs. Very cool. Right on the Continental Divide!"
"We actually stopped by The Indian Village Gift Shop back in April on our cross country trip from Long Island, NY to fill up our tank & use the restrooms & soon saw the sign that we needed to purchase something, which I can understand. My husband picked up a newspaper & a bag of chips, but I noticed the store full of American Indian
/Southwest items 😍 so I quickly went in to look around. I left there with many souvenirs for our kids & grandkids & a few for myself. In particular, a pair of little flowered earrings with a blue stone (not turquoise) on a post that I loved! I just recently found my receipt so I decided to Google this store to see if they had a website with an email address, but no luck. I wanted to contacted the owners to see if there was a way to purchase another pair of those earrings or else where I could get another pair because I recently lost one 🙁. I attached a photo of the earring. We don’t plan on being in that neck of the woods in the near future so I figured I’d give this a try. Either way, it’s a lovely store & anyone I spoke to was very nice & patient with me as I walked around the store to find souvenirs for my family! Thanks!"
